Automation Training
Missing
out on automation jobs? Sun Glow can help. Training for
Somfy automation products is coming to Sun Glow. This series of
helpful seminars will give you the information you need to bolster your
confidence in the field of automation and integration.
The first
training session will provide a general introduction to automation
practices, and will equip you with the knowledge you need to help your
customers make the right decisions for their automation projects.
Detail:
When: Wednesday June 24, 2009 Time: 10:00 to 1:00, lunch is included.
Who should attend: sales staff, designers, owners, those that work with the end user.

Sun Glow is Hiring
Sun Glow is currently looking to fill 3 positions in the company. All are full time permanent positions.
As
mentioned above Dawn will be taking maternity leave this summer and we
need someone that can fill her role as receptionist and office support
clerk.
We are also looking for a sales representative to work
with our clients to keep them up to date with Sun Glow products and
resources.
Additionally, we need a technically minded individual
to work in our estimating department and help prepare detailed
information for use in the architectural and contract sector. Working knowledge of SolidWorks is preferred.

 Sun
Glow is happy to prepare your quote requests and happier when they turn
into orders. Our quote volume has increased considerably and we still
maintain same day or next day turnaround. No one wants to spend time
and effort and not get results. We are prepared to go the extra mile
to increase the probability that you will be successful in being
granted the project. The more information you
provide, the better we could provide a competitive price. Please
provide us with a project name, we may already have pertinent
information that will help. Please provide us with the specs and / or
drawings, we will double check your assessment and provide the most
cost effective option within specifications.
A recent example
of how more information results more competitive quoting. We had an
RFQ from two different authorized dealers, but the quantities varied. One
dealer provided the specs while the other just gave us sizes and quantities. Based on the
sizes, we would generally price an R16 clutch and stainless steel chain, yet the spec required an
R8 clutch and nickel plated chain. Without this additional information we may have overpriced
the job and your and our efforts would be wasted.
